=====Song-anime relation timestamp data=====
=====Song-anime relation timestamp data=====
When songs are used in anime, they are not always fully credited in the anime credits.  To aid with the documentation and crediting of song data, one data point that '''could''' be added to AniDB is timestamp data.  Currently, [https://tracker.anidb.net/view.php?id=3539 AniDB does not have the ability] to add comments to song-anime-relations to document this timestamp data.  Therefore, the interim solution is to add this information to the song entry`s description.

The standard template for adding such data is as follows:
SONG DESCRIPTION TEMPLATE
Anime name #1 (anime ID): Ep 1-2 (3:27); Ep O3 (5:33, <<any special notes>>) ''-- note O3 is the letter O, as in O type episodes''
Anime name #2 (anime ID): Ep 5, 7-10 (12:31, <<any special notes>>); Ep 11 (16:30), Ep S1 (5:33; 11:52 <<any special notes>>)
Anime name #3 (anime ID): Ep 1, 11-13, 16 (5:33 [IN], <<any special notes>>; 11:52 [OP])
Usage notes:
# The Anime ID must also be a live URL link to the anime entry.
# The standard anime entry link is '''<nowiki>https://anidb.net/a99999</nowiki>''' where '''99999''' is the anime ID of the entry in question.
# Optional: you can also add live URL links to each episode, using '''<nowiki>https://anidb.net/e999999</nowiki>''' as the standard entry link.
# Special notes are used to describe any nuances for a particular timestamp, such as a timestamp coming from a specific release other than the original broadcast.
# In instances where the same song is used in the same episode of the anime as 2 or more different song types, include the song types in [ ] square bracket tags. Please use the standard Anison 2-letter tags as [[Anison|found here]].
## BGM can be used for background music, as Anison does not currently have an acronym for it.
Here is a fictitious example of a song that is used in the Psycho-Pass series multiple times.  This full description would be added to the end / bottom of the song entry`s description.
EXAMPLE
Psycho-Pass (<nowiki></nowiki>{{a|a9127|a9127}}): Ep 1-2 (3:27); Ep O3 (12:30, New Edit) ''-- note O3 is the letter O, as in O type episodes''
