The word on the street is wait for AOM 0.6 as much will change, so no formal docs exist on how to use the previous version.  For fun, here is a [[/AniDB_O%27Matic_-_Documentation/dump|dump]] of my log from #anidb trying to walk a noob through setting up AOM.
