If you want to add a bunch of files you already have or just got, you can use this feature to bulk add them. The system will identify the files by their hash and then show you an overview where you can look up which files AniDB knows (and added to your mylist) and also which files AniDB couldn't add to your list because they're unknown. An explanation on how to add such files to AniDB will be available in another topic.
