***** Sure, but you might as well ask why not Ranma/Inuyasha for Rumiko Takahashi, Queen Milennia for Leiji Matsumoto, Devilman/Cutie Honey for Go Nagai or hundreds of alternatives for Osamu Tezuka. Where's the justice for them? With prolific authors, you just have to make a choice. Yawara might make the most sense of them as it was his first major success.
