The search field is normally located in the top right-hand corner of most AniDB pages and depending on which page you are currently viewing it can be used to search for:
- anime (default)
- anime tags
- character
- character tags
- collections
- creator
- group
- mylist
- producer
- songs
- user
Features
- If you are viewing the grouplist or a group-page, the search field will search for groups added to the DB, and vice versa for the other lists/pages.
- You may add double quotes (") around your search term for an exact search. This is particularly useful for short titles, like X or AIR.
- Example exact search: "AIR"
- There is also an advanced search interface where you can enter many other search parameters on the Advanced Search page on AniDB.
