A split-episode file is an episode, which got cut into at least 2 parts. Those are troublesome as AniDB can only associate 1 Episode to 1 File atm. Add the episodes like described in the How to add new episodes-guideline, but with with the following episode titles.

Movies & 1 episode OVAs

complete episode
  • ep1: Complete Movie
  • ep1: OVA
Note: If the OVA/Movie should have a title different to the animetitle add this one as the episodetitle instead of the generic Complete Movie and OVA.
If not don't add them as double titles aren't wanted!
split in 2 parts
  • ep2: Part 1 of 2
  • ep3: Part 2 of 2
split in 3 parts
  • ep1: Part 1 of 3
  • ep2: Part 2 of 3
  • ep3: Part 3 of 3

and so on...

Note: Also DON'T add/move movie and 1 ep ova parts to Specials!

TV Series & OVAs

The complete episode is to be added as a normal episode no changes there. Only the splits need special treatment.

split in 2 parts
  • O1: Episode x (Part 1 of 2)
  • O2: Episode x (Part 2 of 2)
split in 3 parts
  • O1: Episode x (Part 1 of 3)
  • O2: Episode x (Part 2 of 3)
  • O3: Episode x (Part 3 of 3)

and so on...

Note: O refers to "Special O (Other)" meaning it's to be added as a specialepisode
