Votes:Anime-Temporary

Revision as of 21:56, 25 April 2009 by Ninjamask (talk | contribs)

You should take a look at the vote guideline before voting. There you will see what levels there are and how to use them correctly.

Temporary votes should be made for anime you haven't watched completely yet. For this reason, currently airing anime or anime that haven't been released yet cannot be permanently voted upon. Your only option is a temporary vote. If you have any further questions about this, take a look here.

In order to vote you need to be logged in and viewing an anime entry. After the description and any possible award, you will see the voting section. If it is not there, it will either be because you are not logged in, or because you have already voted permanently.

If you change your mind during the watching, you can revoke your vote at any time, by clicking on the "revoke" link in the details of the anime, or on the "revoke" link in your MyVotes.

If you perm vote for an anime, any temporary vote you have cast will be lost.

Why can't I vote temporary?!

AniDB allows temporary voting only for anime that have started airing. To determine if an anime has been aired, the "First Aired/Released" Date of the anime entry is compared to the current date.
Temporary voting is possible only if the "First Aired/Released" Date is added AND lies in the past.
So, if you are unable to vote temporary it is likely that nobody has added the "First Aired/Released" Date for this anime yet.
To vote you have to look on the internet for the correct "First Aired/Released" Date of this anime and then file a creq by clicking the "request edit" link at the bottom of the anime page.
If you don't know where to find the "First Aired/Released" Date, these pages can help you.

Note Please always include the URL to the page where you found the Finished Airing/Release Date information in the creq comment field.
