This template generates a short link to AniDB. The last parameter is used as link name name (unless you define the <altname>).
Alternative names
- {{a|<aID>}} - Special alias for anime IDs, <ID> = "a" + <aID>.
- {{short}} - The short template name.
- {{anidb}} - Alternate short template name.
- {{AniDBShortLink}} - The full template name.
Syntax
The template can have 1 to 3 parameters:
- {{AniDBShortLink|<ID>}} - Link to anime related ID number.
- {{AniDBShortLink|<ID>|<name>}} - "Official" name of ID.
- {{AniDBShortLink|<ID>|<name>|<altname>}} - Alternate ID (English) name.
<ID> = a + anime ID number - used to reference AniDB anime.
cr + creator ID number - used to reference e.g. a AniDB seiyuu.
ch + character ID number - used to reference AniDB anime character.

<name> = Official name of the "ID related page", used as link name.
<altname> = Mention a better-known (English) alternate name.
