The search field is normally located in the top right-hand corner of most AniDB pages and depending on which page you are currently viewing it can be used to search for:
- anime (default)
- anime tags
- character
- character tags
- collections
- creator
- group
- mylist
- producer
- songs
- user
Features
If you are viewing the grouplist or a group-page, the search field will search for groups added to the DB, and vice versa for the other lists/pages.
You may enter a double quote ("") around your search term and it will match an exact result. This is particularly useful for short titles, like X [1] or AIR [2]
There is also an advanced search interface where you can enter many other search parameters located here.
