AniDB is a user-driven database. The normal way to contribute is to issue change requests (creq for short), which means that a moderator has to approve your suggested changes before they are published on the site. The two other types of requests are add and remove requests. Request links can usually be found on the bottom of every page that have editable content.
Important notes:
- Only logged in users can issue creqs.
- Users with the user level of Tard can not see their own creqs.
- Except for obvious changes, always describe the reason for the changes you request and/or the source of your information.
- Be prepared to follow up the requests you make. They will be denied if you fail to respond on possible questions given by the moderators.
