The top 10 highest rated anime gets a special mention in the anime pages. An anime must have a minimum number of votes to get a Top 10 award. The Top 10 used to be listed on the AniDB main page, but due to some seriousvote stuffing issues it was removed. The Top 10 awards are still listed on the pages of the top 10 animes though.
