I've just registered an account to try and use this app, and although the registration went through and the login works on the site, both this client and the WebAOM client are rejecting my password, with the message "Banned: Excessive".
Do the clients still function? Is some sort of account other than a normal user account needed to use them? I see an optional field for "API Pass" but there's no mention on the client pages about where to get an API password.
: November 2014, AOM works and can be used to add files to mylist and possibly do something more. But it is horribly full of bugs, including fatal like deleting random files when you tell it to delete something particular (in contrast to author saying it was fixed, in fact it was not), and critical design flaws. I'm going to try [http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=cmt&id=23015&page=0 AniSub] instead, it looks to be maintained.
