| Depending on how the situation evolves we might be in need of a new host. But this is not clear yet. Nevertheless we'd like to gather some feedback to see what our options would be.

| AniDB has grown quite big and will most likely continue to grow even more. This leads to quite high resource requirements and makes many hosting options not viable for us. | |

| So if you might be able to provide hosting, please verify that you can provide:

| Minimum requirements:

| - own dedicated server with full root access (not shared with any other services/users)
| |
| - >=5MBit/s unlimited traffic
| |
| - decent hardware: >=2GHz, >=1GB RAM, >=40GB HDD
| |
| - OS: Linux
| |
| - some way to get a remote reset within 24h (which would solve our current problem x_X)

| | |
| Wishlist:

| - two servers
| |
| - raid mirrored harddisk for db server
| |
| - distribution: Debian, no webadmin packages like plesk&co
| |
| - ... and whatever else you can throw in :o)

| We can't offer much in return though. We would give credit to you (and/or your company) on a seperate page and include a small hosted by button on each AniDB page.
