Sub issues

Only one hard sub or soft only is accepted by the autocreqer atm.

Hard + hard:

Hard + soft:

Multiple video tracks

Autocreqer doesn't handle those correctly atm (uses duration of last video track).

Misc

AVI

Duration

Not recognized

MP3 CBR marked VBR

MP3 CBR with high bitrate

Relic from an old version of the autocreqer, reset the dump in cases like that:

Bitrate rounding

Or VBR..

MP3 VBR not recognized

Wrong track size

Fixed in 0.32, handled as corrupt.

MKV

Duration

Slightly wrong audio duration for some files with A_MS/ACM (fourcc=55) results in wrong bitrate.

Slightly off A_AC3

All track durations are slightly off for mkv; the duration is actually the last timecode meaning it should be added ~42/35/? ms. Results in 1 kBit/s error in some rare cases (not related to those above).

MP3 VBR not recognized

MP3 bitrate rounding?

DTS bitrates

As avdump calculate bitrates by track size and MVK stores DTS efficiently (header stripping) the bitrates will not follow the standards (768/1536).

Wrong fps

Fps is 1000000, fixed in 0.32.

Fps is 59.94, not checked:

HE-AACv2

OGM

MP3 VBR not recognized

General issue. There is a hack for this in the autocreqer.

Should be fixed in .32:

SUB

Identified as mpg, fixed in .32:

  • 48483, 48484, 48485, 48486, 48493, 48488, 48495, 48490, 48489, 205275

Corrupt Files

Corrupt in the sense that the container structure is wrong. Files may be parsable AND corrupt, but this is not included here.

It would still be possible to extract useful information, but this is not done atm (ie. they are ignored by the autocreqer).

MKV

AVI

Whether all these files really are corrupt or just hacky is of course discussable. If you strongly believe that some of them are ok and avdump should be fixed then use discussion.

These are now creqed using bitrates provided by MediaInfo. Might be a couple of kbits off (stalling the autogranter @ mp3 cbr). --Epoximator 09:24, 3 January 2008 (CET)
