The top 10 highest rated anime gets a special mention in the anime pages. An anime must have a minimum number of votes to get a Top 10 award. The top 10 is calculated dynamically from the ratings during every [[Routine Maintenance]] cycle.
The Top 10 used to be listed on the AniDB main page, but due to some serious [[vote stuffing]] issues it was removed. The Top 10 awards are still listed on the pages of the top 10 anime though.
