There are two branches of AOM at the moment, a working 0.5 version, and an updated-but-not-yet-functional 0.6 version. Unfortunately, the older, operational version is quite complicated, almost entirely undocumented, and vunerable to various bugs in the API. What documentation does exist is linked below.
